The city of Curso Ersenptus is the third largest city in the the Aderan Republic of Acroticus. It has a population of over 3 million. Curso Ersenptus sits at the mouth of the Nyramae River, on the coast of the Melioric Ocean. The City has an ancient history, having been founded over 3 millenia ago, and is generally considered one of the longest surviving early Proto-Aderan settlements. Formerly one of the most powerful city-states during the First Aderan-States Period, and remains a center of wealth and influence to this day.

The city remains an important center of tourism, with travelers from around the world coming to see the city's gothic-influenced architecture. The famous architect Phaes Dethra lived nearly his entire life in the city, and several well known buildings including the Erseneum, which now functions as the headquarters for the city government, and the Aardvark. The gray, sooty buildings, along with the rainy, overcast weather, gave the city its sobriquet, the City of Ash.

In addition to its architecture, the city is renowned for its vibrant arts scene, with numerous galleries and museums showcasing the works of local artists and sculptors. Some of the most notable museums in the city include the Museum of Gothic Art and the Museum of Acrotican History, both of which attract thousands of visitors each year.

Despite its rich history and cultural heritage, Curso Ersenptus is also a modern and dynamic city, with a bustling business district and thriving technology sector. The city is home to several large corporations, as well as a number of startups and tech companies that are driving innovation and growth in the region.
