Positions in the Acrotician Government

Praetors - there are two Praetors, who are elected every four years (alternating, so one is elected every two years). They lead the executive, act as commanders of the armed forces and each chairs either the Presidency of the Curia or the Presidency of the Greater Assembly.

Quaestors - These are the managers of each of the departments. Appointed by the Praetors, and confirmed by the Curia and the General Assembly, these Quaestors are often political allies of the Praetors, and help run the government to their specifications.

Consuls - These are the Ambassadors of Acroticus. They are also members of the House of Consuls.

Assembleymen - These are men elected to the Greater Assembly.

Senators - Those elected to the Curia, the lowest branch of the legislature, are called Senators.

Princeps - These are the governors of each of the twenty states, elected by the people of their state.
