CE Timeline

The First Civilization: Civilization is formed on the shores of the Vichy Peninsula. People will eventually migrate into the Greater Girrmaen Region, and then into Yskalia and Lower Girrmaen.

The First Civilization: City states all around the area of the Vichyan Region join together in the First Empire of Man.

The First Civilization: The First Empire of Man loses hold on the discontent provinces of Greater Yskalia and Lower Yskalia, which split off to form Yskal and Persti.

First Perstyan-Yskalian War

The First Civilization: Girrmaenia leaves the First Empire of Man, forming the United Empire of Girrmaenia

The First Civilization: Girrmaen as a state collapses, forming numerous lesser states who continuously squabble and war for meager resources and land in minor skirmishes resulting in a varied land too diverse and complicated to show on a map or on a timeline. From this point on, Girrmaenia has a rough border area on maps with evenly dispersed dots within, representing tbe many states and city-states of the region.

The First Civilization: The First Empire of Man falls and becomes the Kingdom of Vichy.

Second Perstyan-Yskalian War

Discovery: The first map of the known world is made, which excludes Bragunia and Carrib. Vaeria forms a Union of States and sends colonizers to settle the eastern peninsula of Ghandusta.

Ghandustan Independence Wars: The Vaerian-Ghandustan population of Ghandusta interbreeds. By the end of the millenia, the Vaerian settlers will have fully assimilated. This new Ghandustan identity organizes a revolt. Slaves are freed and military bases are raided. Warfare will evolve to a very different thing by the end of the Wars.

Girrmaenn Unification Wars:

Discovery: Arsille Discovers Bragunia, Carrib, Seigne, and Trilan. Colonization begins, but a powerful native population in Trilan resists the Vichyan invaders.

Great Purge: The

Carriban Depression: In the region of Carrib, the stock market crashes, affecting the econimies of all five nations in the region. Businesses fail, money loses value, and poverty strikes.

Carriban Depression: The island chain of Manau, heavily interdependent on the USV and the other Carriban nations, falls harder than most. Due to lack of opportunity, the USV pulls out, leaving the economy of Manau devastated.

Manauan Revolution: The Manauan Republic becomes more and more corrupt, and more and more authoritarian, to keep themselves afloat. The citizens resent this, and dissent grows.

Manauan Revolution: Over half of the Grand Army of the Republic of Manau defect, and join the multitude of growing peasant rebellions.

Manauan Revolution: Peasant rebellions destroy the Republic of Manau and turn on each other, fighting for resources and power.

Carriban Depression: West Cabetario, Gané, and Arjas form an economic union to protect themselves. They start accepting imports from CSV without tarrif to recover from the depression.

Manauan Revolution: The peasant rebellions of Manau end up destroying each other, crippling the island chain and lowering the population drastically.

Carriban Depression: A drought ravishes Carrib. West Cabetario, Gané, and Arjas make it out stronger than ever.

Carriban Depression: Tiberon, afraid of the situation in Carrib, sells their independence to the USV. The USV now has a launching point if they were ever to invade the CSV.

CSV-USV Tensions: Heated arguements over the new USV Territory of Tiberon ensue, dragging the nations of Vaeria further and further apart.

War of Carrib: West Cabetario, Gané, and Arjas join their armies together to invade and secure Manau, which, once struggling, was now dragging itself out of the ditch of depression.

War of Carrib: General Castro Ferdinand of West Cabetario leads the invasion of Manau, sweeping through the islands and securing former Republican outposts for the Carriban Union.

War of Carrib: General Ferdinand's forces return to West Cabetario to inform the Kingdom of their success and resupply, before marching on East Cabetario.

War of Carrib: The Carriban Union forces blitz through East Cabetario, an isolationist nation, overpowering the strong border guards and marching inward.

War of Carrib: The East Cabetarión soldiers stationed throughout the edges of East Cabetario rendezvous on the capital, readying the city for an invasion by the Carriban Union, leaving no defenders throughout the rest of the country.

War of Carrib: Angry at the lack of support from the government, East Cabetarión revolutionaries march on the capital.

War of Carrib: As the East Cabetarión Revolutionary Army storms through the streets of the capital, the Carriban Union Army breaks through the weakened, off-guard defenses of East Cabetario, capturing the capital.

War of Carrib: The leader of the East Cabetarión Revolution agrees to become the governor of East Cabetario, now a vassal state of West Cabetario.

War of Carrib: The Carriban Union Army is disbanded, and the soldiers return home.

Demilitarization of the Carriban Union: Believing the Carriban Union to be weighing down the Kingdom of Unified Cabetario, the king hatches a clever plan to conquer his former allies. He proposes that the countries demilitarize, keeping no standing army, so that Carrib can prosper in peace. The Republic of Gané quickly accepts, being pacifists in culture. Due to a majority, the warlike Republic of Arjas is forced to agree.

Second War of Carrib: The Cabetarión army doesn't disband, but rather continues to train in secret, and grows, replacing the police force in Cabetario.

Second War of Carrib: The Cabetarión Secret Army mobilizes under the cover of darkness on the western coast of Cabetario, masking themselves from the rest of the Union.

Second War of Carrib: The Cabetarión Secret Army travels across the coast to Arjas on midnight, stealthily securing the docks as a forwarding base, before launching a full scale invasion of Arjas.

Second War of Carrib: A conscription drive is initiated in Arjas, and the police attempt to defend their people from the Cabetarión invasion, but the Secret Army is better trained and equipped, sweeping through Arjas and taking the capital in the span of a month.

Second War of Carrib: The Secret Army leaves behind a small force to defend Arjas before loading on their ships and being sent towards the weakened island of Gané. The Ganéan President confronts the King of Cabetario, but he denies all allegations, buying time for his army to invade Gané.

Second War of Carrib: Gané officially requests support from the Carriban Union to battle what they see as Terrorists. Cabetario refuses.

Second War of Carrib: Gané surrenders to the Kingdom of Cabetario.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: Due to sharing their only land borders with each other, Bragun and Cabetario each see the other as a threat. After watching Cabetatio invade their neighbors and allies, Bragun issues sanctions, and a strong distaste grows.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: Ethnically Cabetarión people in Bragun live in poverty and fear of the Bragunian government.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: The Republic of Bragun enters into an alliance with the CSV.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: The Kingdom of Cabetario installs a conscription policy, and militarizes their police force, fearful of an attack by both the CSV and Bragun.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: Bragun, wary of the Cabetarión mobilization, follows suit, and enforces stricter border patrol.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: A Bragunian freighter with a broken navigation system goes off course and into Cabetarión waters. The jittery Cabetarión Navy sinks the freighter, killing twenty six people.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: Bragun and the CSV join an alliance between Girrmaen and Yskal to the east. They call this alliance the Transoceanic League, and their fleets patrol all over the Magellan Ocean.

Bragunian-Cabetarión Tensions: Cabetario joins in a growing alliance with Weigor and Etta, two nations opposed to the growing Transoceanic League. Together they form the Triumvirate Pact.

Global Tension: The Triumvirate Pact draws up invasion plans to take over the Transoceanic League.

Global Tension: A turncoat reveals the Triumvirate plan to Girrmaen, allowing the country to prepare a preemtpive invasion of the Triumvirate Pact. The Transoceanic League manages to recruit Sau to their side, and the alliance is renamed the Iron Pact.

Great War: Girrmaen invades Weigor, sparking the Great War between the Iron Pact and the Triumvirate Pact.

Great War: The Bragunian Navy forms a blockade of Cabetario, cutting them off from the east while the CSV Navy strikes from the north. Former Arjas is invaded by Bragunian troops.

Great War: A plea to the USV quickly gains an ally of the Triumvirate Pact. The USV invades the CSV from their shared border, forcing the Carriban invasion to seize and the navy to withdraw.

Great War: Free from the naval invasion, the Cabetarión navy breaks through the Bragunian blockade. The small divisons of the Cabetarión Army stationed throughout the Carriban islands move to Arjas to reinforce the defense, which was already holding strong.

Great War: The Cabetarión Forces push past the heavily fortified border into Bragunian territory.

Great War: Arsille is coerced into joining the war on the side of the Triumvirates, and launches an invasion into Etta to lessen the assault on the Girrmaenian homeland.
