Location and Climate

The Union of Ajuba is located on the on the western coast of Epheron, roughly halfway between the northern and southern coasts. It is just below the equator in the Southern Tropics. The coastal plains, extending inland from the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Ajuba, are exceedingly hot and humid with a short dry season; they are dominated by dense equatorial rain forests. The Arbadan Plateau rises in the middle of the country and is covered by open plains and scattered forests. Alternation between dry and rainy seasons give the plateau a less humid climate and it altitude provides for cool evenings during the dry season. To the far west, the plateau gives way to dry plains and grasslands.
