The Armed Corporations of Aurora Islands is a gargantuan, efficient nation, ruled by General John T Westmoreland with an even hand, and renowned for its pith helmet sales, enslaved workforce, and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic, humorless population of 36.493 billion Auroraians are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, corrupt, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Industry, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Aurora City. Income tax is unheard of.

The frighteningly efficient Auroraian economy, worth an astonishing 38,150 trillion golden dollars a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Retail, and Soda Sales. Average income is a breathtaking 1,045,414 golden dollars, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 9,791,966 per year while the poor average 9,403, a ratio of 1,041 to 1.

The nation is known abroad mostly for its Parliamentary antics, pirates armed with sonar-guided semi-autonomous torpedos and laser weapons systems are often seen capturing fishing trawlers, photographers can be found hiding behind the curtains in General John T Westmoreland's bedroom, and it's entirely possible foreign diplomats misheard when Aurora Islands offered the words "peace be upon you". Crime is totally unknown. Aurora Islands's national animal is the golden hummingbird, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Aurora Islands is ranked 40th in the world and 1st in United Kingdom for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring 51,778.67 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
