Flanderlion's Geography

Flanderlion is a heavily forested in the center, with small farming installations where the towns are. The edge of the nation is surrounded by large mountains, and are the main habitat of the nation's national animal, the Flanderlion. The mountains are rumored to have large mineral deposits, but due to the inaccessibility of the Mountains of Flanderlion, these claims have not be verified by the Royal Flanderlion Geographical Society. These Mountains are one of the main reasons that exposure is a large risk. The Forests of Flanderlion are below the snow line, but periodic avalanches from the Mountains sometimes bring large areas under snow. There is only one river which drains the Kingdom of Flanderlion, which goes directly to the sea, which has been confirmed to border at least one side of the Kingdom. The Society has confirmed that there is land on another side of the mountains, but the other two sides have not been successfully explored. The Kingdom of Flanderlion's borders are the Mountains.
