The Second New Waldensian Civil War was an internal conflict that began in August of 1844, with the Confederation of New Waldensia divided in two camps, one led by Hussia and the other by Waldensia.
Background
The Principality of Hussia had a history of discontent with participation in the Confederation of New Waldensia, and especially viewed the Principality of Waldensia with suspicion.
Revolt
On August 12th, 1844, the Principality of Hussia declared its withdrawal from the Confederation of New Waldensia in protest of the election of Waldensia's Prince Josiah Waldo to a second term as Grand Prince of the Confederation. Immediate military mobilization occurred, and minor border clashes began.
The Principality of Venalda joined Hussia in revolt on October 3rd, 1844
