The Kingdom of Nysha is a gargantuan, cultured nation, notable for its daily referendums, compulsory military service, and complete lack of prisons. The hard-nosed, hard-working, devout population of 11.892 billion Nyshans are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Defense, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Hattusha. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6.6%.

The strong Nyshan economy, worth 648 trillion gift exchanges a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is fairly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Gambling, Retail, and Woodchip Exports. Average income is 54,506 gift exchanges, but there is an enormous disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 317,359 per year while the poor average 4,420, a ratio of 71.8 to 1.

The government is seen to favor traditionalist religions, shouting contests are an important part of government job interviews, baseball caps are the new fashion trend, and criminals are thrown to the horses to repay their debt to society. Crime is a serious problem, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Nysha's national animal is the horse, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Nysha is ranked 24,380th in the world and 12th in The TWR and NE Puppet Depot for Most Cheerful Citizens, with 52.91 Percentage Of Water Glasses Perceived Half-Full.
