The Republic of Ordah is a colossal, safe nation, renowned for its public floggings, state-planned economy, and avowedly heterosexual populace. The compassionate, humorless, devout population of 7.998 billion Ordahians are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Administration. The income tax rate is 100%.

The frighteningly efficient Ordahian economy, worth a remarkable 1,888 trillion currencies a year, is driven almost entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is extremely specialized, is mostly made up of the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Soda Sales. State-owned companies are the norm. Average income is an amazing 236,111 currencies, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Ritual mummification is making a comeback, foreign nations kill migratory animals at random in the hope that Ordah will pay them to stop, there's never enough space in space, and snap elections are called over every minor impasse. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ordah's national animal is the animal, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Ordah is ranked 330,673rd in the world and 53rd in Vickenian experiment incubator for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring -24.7 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
