Overview

We have relations with two neighboring societies, Sovereign Muskegon and the Michigan Human Homeland. We don't know of any other organized groups in North America, although for the last few decades we've largely been turned inward.

The last time we devoted significant effort to contacting other groups was back in the 2340s, when the government of Toledo made repeated radio and TV broadcasts to find other survivors of the Final War. They heard a few replies from a number of distant groups of survivors, as far away as Vancouver, British Columbia; Santa Fe, New Mexico; Savannah, Georgia; and Manchester, England. However, some of the groups when silent eventually, and Toledo's own equipment began to break down as well. The last contact was lost in 2358, when the commsat relaying signals to Santa Fe failed.
