Operation: Forgotten Fallacy

Explanation to the Combat

The expansion plan for Royal Nigaria, nicknamed "Operation: Forgotten Fallacy", planned for the RNEF to expand outwards around the country to conquer more of the local tribes. The plan was to not only expand their claims and develop power, but also to develop more tribes and include them in the greater plan for the Affrikona continent. The operation itself began on the 28th of November, 2020. The battleplan consisted of three areas; sector alpha, or SA, sector bravo, or SB, and sector charlie, SC. Each area is led by a different General of the Prince;

Sector Alpha
Commanded by General Tin Po

Sector Bravo
Commanded by General Cyrillius Maxima

Sector Charlie
Commanded by General We Kulash

Combat Logs - Week 1

(OOC) For each week of combat, we will roll a D20 dice. At a minimum, D5 or lower is a loss, as we are a trained army against tribal militia. For each slot of land we claim to attack, -3 is added to the dice roll value. For each army included, +1 is added to the value.

SA, Week One: Rolled, 16. Value is now 6.

The invasion plan of the northern plains were successful. Although combat was tough, the plan was completed and the remaining tribes that have been encircled will now be pushed upon by the defensive line. Casualties that have been sustained were of an expected amount. The armies currently in combat now work on developing a new offensive line on the territories claimed, while the remaining forces will clean up any remaining opposing forces and send them to P.O.W camps.

SB, Week One: Rolled, 20. Value is now 11.

The invasion plan heading north east was of a confusing situation for the armies there. It appears all the local tribes welcomed the men with open arms, joining the nation of Royal Nigaria with great joy. Our military forces have moved through the areas and have now set up a new offensive line surrounding the new working tribal forces. One small issue has arisen with the logistics units suffering with the local terrain, that will slow down future rearmament efforts.

SC, Week One: Rolled, 12. Value is now 6.

The invasion plan east-south-east has resulted in heavier casualties than expected, however is still a success. The plan provided, now completed, will allow for not only the security of soldiers in sector bravo, but also gets a foothold into the region. The region itself is more difficult to expand into than previously thought, with local militia groups holding an aggressive stance. It is now under contemplation to move soldiers from SB to SA, but for now, a defensive line is to be maintained.

Combat Logs - Week 2

(OOC) After the first week of combat, we dragged another two [REDACTED] army forces in that are active in all regions for attacking. It will be emphasized where they attacked so bonuses can be added there. Also, I edited the map so you can see all three combat sectors at once just to make it easier to read.

SA, Week Two: Rolled, 14. Value is now 7.

The invasion plan of the northern plains continued up the coastline, securing the ports and trading routes leading out of the area. Similar to week one, the casualty rate was that as previously expected. The actual assaults themselves were slightly better executed, leading to a boost in morale in the region (+1 value next roll). Overall, it is believed the hardest part about sector alpha is behind the army group there.

SB, Week Two: Rolled, 13. Value is now 7.

The invasion plan heading north east had a diversion from the previous battle plan. Forces from the region diverted themselves back into the encircled tribal area and cleared it with ease. Due to a surplus of men, the battle group instead diverted forces to continue pushing, breaching a tribal force in sector alpha. Once cleared, they returned back to frontline duty. The transportation network is still not clear, so future reinforcements will struggle arriving (-2 value on next roll).

SC, Week Two: Rolled, 9. Value is now 5.

The invasion plan east-south-east was a failure. Even with the supporting forces of [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] in the south-east of the region, their inhumane tactics and violent assaults on innocent people had caused a huge tribal uprising (-2 value next roll). All the tribes in the region are now boosting defences and starting to formulate formal military armies in response (-1 value next roll). However, a piece of land is claimed in the region from the unexpected direction of attack. No other advancements have been made.

Combat Logs - Week 3

(OOC) This week takes into account General Guida becoming a rouge force, as well as the tribes becoming a bit too spicy for our liking. As before, previous values needing to be added/removed will be calculated with an update.

SA, Week Three: Rolled, 11. Value is now 8.

The invasion plan of the northern plains went further up the coastline, leading to RNEF forces controlling all the seaboard tribal areas (+2 value next roll). No further issues reported.

SB, Week Three: Rolled, 4. Value is now -1.

The invasion plan heading north east received a counter attack from the tribal forces. Upon engaging, the 5th Royal Infantry became encircled and is now under siege behind enemy lines (heads/tails flip if unable to get to them next week.) Reinforcements have been ambushed and resources have been looted by the enemy forces, making way for a strong militia group to take its place, no labelled the "Afrikonna Atakuwa", or "African Peoples" (New army to be added on week 4)

SC, Week Three: Rolled, 15. Value is now 8.

The invasion plan east-south-east gave good fortune to the soldiers in the region. Even with the enemy militia force attempting to combat the RNEF soldiers in the region, another section of tribes has been cut off from the enemy militia forces.

General Guida, Week Three: Rolled, 9 - Affrikona Militia Group, Week Three: Rolled, 17

After last weeks attacks in the region, General Guida was labelled an enemy of the state in Royal Nigaria. On top of this, local tribes banded together to create the Affrikona Militia Group to combat him in the area. During this weeks attacks, both forces fought against each other to try and claim land for their areas. For General Guida, this week was a catastrophe, with him losing almost 1/5th of his active forces (-1 value next roll), as well as a section of land. He has now fallen back to his original landing zone.

As for the AMG, they have secured a large armament of equipment and weapons from General Guida's men, and are now more heavily armed (+2 value next roll).

Combat Logs - Week 4

(OOC) The battleplan this week focuses on securing our units that are trapped behind enemy lines. In SA, the 1st Royal Infantry and 2nd Royal Infantry have doubled back to come and support SB for this week only. Everything goes as normal!

SA, Week Four: Rolled, 10. Value is now 15.

Although no attacks took place this week, one tribe in the region decided to offer support to the RNEF and join the cause. One extra army will join next week called the "Khabibi Militia".

SB, Week Four: Rolled, 18. Value is now 16.

The invasion plan heading north east has broken through enemy lines and successfully withdrawn the trapped forces. For the first time since the invasion began, the supply lines are now back operational and will allow for the normal reinforcement rate (+2 value next role due to new reinforcments).

SC, Week Four: Rolled, 17. Value is now 11.

The invasion plan east-south-east has resulted in a successful blitzkrieg of three tribes, as well as the development of a new method of medical surgery that will be distributed across all the medical units military wide (+2 value on all roles next week for allied forces).

General Guida, Week Four: Rolled, 2, now 1 - Affrikona Militia Group, Week Four: Rolled, 1, now 3

This weeks fighting was limited to skirmishes between the Generals forces and the AMG. However, the AMG is still in control in most firefights, having secured minor victories throughout the frontline.

Combat Logs - Week 5

(OOC) For this weeks combat, we are securing SB, and we decided to leave our army units there. As for SA and SC, we continue the normal advancements. Enjoy!

SA, Week Five: Rolled, 19. Value is now 11.

Sector Alpha saw a rapid advancement into enemy territory, securing more sectors with success.

SB, Week Five: Rolled, 4. Value is now 8.

The invasion plan heading north east saw support from some units in SC after they were engaged. This resulted in a lot of ground being taken, even though the units in SB suffered heavy casualties (-1 value next roll). All that remains is a few tribes in the south of SB.

SC, Week Five: Rolled, 15. Value is now 9.

With some units involved in attacking tribes north of SC, very little advancement could be made. However, due to the secured borders north of their positions, it has allowed for an FOB to be built very far up near the front lines (+1 value next roll).

General Guida, Week Five: Rolled, 5 - Affrikona Militia Group, Week Five: Rolled, 16

General Guida's forces have been demolished in multiple skirmishes across the borders in the frontlines. Due to demoralisation, heavy casualties and the loss of equipment, many men have fled the field of battle and have attempted to return home (-3 value next roll). It is believed at this time the General is becoming more and more fustrated, and becomes desperate...
