The Discorporated States of Sao Camarao is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Cúria dos Onze with an iron fist, and renowned for its triple-decker prams, prohibition of alcohol, and ubiquitous missile silos. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.37 billion Sao Camaraenses are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Defense, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Galanggaõ. The average income tax rate is 49.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The very strong Sao Camaraense economy, worth 143 trillion Bastardoes a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Retail, and Beef-Based Agriculture. Black market activity is frequent. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 104,526 Bastardoes, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

Vats of anabolic steroids are being dumped into the ocean to make Sao Camaraense mussels the biggest in The East Pacific, votes of no confidence regularly remove unwanted MPs, kids laugh off vandalism and arson as "just fun", and cancer rates amongst the richest in society are inexplicably on the rise. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sao Camarao's national animal is the Macára, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Almofariz Pantocrátor.

Sao Camarao is ranked 58,300th in the world and 2,499th in The East Pacific for Largest Furniture Restoration Industry, scoring 2,563.94 on the Spitz-Pollish Productivity Index.
