The United Socialist Provinces of Sicily2015 is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by Supreme Leader Miguel Goscnov with an iron fist, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, frequent executions, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 4.263 billion Guileatians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defense, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Stamford. The average income tax rate is 59.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The Guileatian economy, worth 247 trillion Guileatian Pence a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, fairly diversified black market in Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, Woodchip Exports, and Uranium Mining. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 57,959 Guileatian Pence, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

All artwork is carefully screened for offensive material, summer science camps are regularly raided by narcotics police, funeral directors are frequently looking at their watches during funerals, and internet moderators work overtime to remove memes comparing Supreme Leader Miguel Goscnov to cartoon bears. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sicily2015's national animal is the Phoenix, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution.

Sicily2015 is ranked 38,266th in the world and 2nd in Fettarian Peoples Land for Highest Poor Incomes, with 47,194.32 Standard Monetary Units.
