The Humanist Imperium of The Greater Japanese is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by Empress Machiko Isao with an iron fist, and remarkable for its aversion to nipples, infamous sell-swords, and keen interest in outer space. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 4.247 billion Nihonjins are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Law & Order, Education, and Healthcare are also considered important, while International Aid isn't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Tokyo. The average income tax rate is 89.7%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Japanese economy, worth 552 trillion yen a year, is mostly made up of the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Information Technology, Woodchip Exports, and Uranium Mining. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 130,068 yen, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Family isn't who you're born with but who you abandon in foreign countries, prisoners pray grey skies are gonna clear up, litter collection has replaced fast food as the most popular after-school job, and people are always able to look each other in the eye. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Greater Japanese's national animal is the Koi, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Shinto.

The Greater Japanese is ranked 116,608th in the world and 4,963rd in The East Pacific for Largest Basket Weaving Sector, scoring 1,044.81 on the Hickory Productivity Index.
