The Kingdom of The Maniolas is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by King Prakash with a fair hand, and remarkable for its spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 3.503 billion Maniolans are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The medium-sized, pro-business, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Environment, Social Policy, and Spirituality. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Manila. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 24.8%.

The strong Maniolan economy, worth 163 trillion Maniolan peras a year, is quite specialized and led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Cheese Exports, Basket Weaving, and Woodchip Exports. Black market activity is notable. Average income is 46,773 Maniolan peras, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 453,497 per year while the poor average 232, a ratio of 1,948 to 1.

The tenet of free speech is held dear, The Maniolas has designated Manila as its capital city, King Prakash has just been declared ruler of The Maniolas in an international press conference, and Hinduism has been named as The Maniolas's national religion. Crime is a problem. The Maniolas's national animal is the naga, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Hinduism.

The Maniolas is ranked 43,003rd in the world and 1,506th in Lazarus for Most Extensive Civil Rights, with 70.27 Martin Luther King, Jr. Units.
