The Organic Commonwealth of Uan aa Boa is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by the Humanist Council with an even hand, and renowned for its complete lack of prisons, state-planned economy, and hatred of cheese. The compassionate, humorless population of 10.417 billion Boanis are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The minute government, or what there is of one, is dominated by the Department of Environment, although Education, Social Policy, and Administration are also considered important, while Spirituality and Defense receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Aa. The average income tax rate is 2.1%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The powerhouse Boani economy, worth 339 trillion labour notes a year, is driven almost entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is mostly comprised of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 32,578 labour notes, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

There has been a rapid increase of noise complaints over the sound of buzzing bees, politicians are often found scavenging bins at night to supplement their income, "The Humanist Council got your tongue?" has become a popular idiom, and arthritic surgeons with tremulous fingers reassure patients that they are in safe hands. Crime, especially youth-related, is almost non-existent. Uan aa Boa's national animal is the solidarity bird, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Uan aa Boa is ranked 274,304th in the world and 325th in Forest for Largest Publishing Industry, scoring -12.55 on the Bella Potter Productivity e-Index.
