The Republic of Unidum is a huge, efficient nation, ruled by Elio Unius with an even hand, and notable for its smutty television, irreverence towards religion, and restrictive gun laws. The compassionate, democratic population of 904 million Unidumians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Education, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Unius. The average income tax rate is 18.9%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Unidumian economy, worth 106 trillion Domins a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is broadly diversified, is dominated by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Retail, Tourism, and Woodchip Exports. Average income is an impressive 118,171 Domins, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Debate rages over whether ground fish guts can be spread on fields, the wealthiest parts of the country receive the most government spending, an increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents, and it's been a banner year for local vexillology. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Unidum's national animal is the Pangolin, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Unidum is ranked 15,930th in the world and 534th in the South Pacific for Healthiest Citizens, with 10.15 Bananas Ingested Per Day.
