The Republic of United Baltics is a huge, cultured nation, renowned for its ubiquitous missile silos, keen interest in outer space, and irreverence towards religion. The compassionate, democratic population of 302 million Balticians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Industry, and Administration. The average income tax rate is 45.8%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming United Balticsian economy, worth 29.1 trillion Euros a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Information Technology, and Retail. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 96,311 Euros, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Soldiers are equipped with multi-million Euro battlesuits, nuclear physics is the most popular course at university, nose plugs are the latest United Balticsian fashion accessory, and students are wary of colorfully decorated new teachers with names like Professor Pipsqueak. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. United Baltics's national animal is the Deer, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

United Baltics is ranked 32,574th in the world and 223rd in Europe for Most Income Equality, scoring 59.73 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
