The Federation of Varnash Armed Forces

The Federation of Varnash Armed Forces was created to establish a functional military within Varnash that could protect itself against outsider threats and to train the youth of Varnash to fight for their country when necessary.
The Federation of Varnash Armed Forces has 3 Rites.

The Rite of the Sword is the ground-based corps of the The Federation of Varnash Armed Forces, called thus because of the traditional weapon of Rite of the Sword patriarchs, the Kashanlakari, a two-handed sword with two grips.

The Rite of the Spear is the sea-based corps of the The Federation of Varnash Armed Forces, called thus because of the traditional weapon of ancient Varnashi walrus hunters, the Pictashna, a spear so long it required two people using both of their hands to use. It was made to be so long as to catch the walruses as they were fleeing.

The Rite of the Arrow is the newest corps of the The Federation of Varnash Armed Forces, created to utilize planes and to dominate the air. The Rite of the Arrow was called thus because of the thin arrow-shaped shrapnel bombs that Varnash was manufacturing at the time of its creation.

These Rites have offshoots, such as the Varnashi Cavalry Division, the Varnashi Coast Guard, and the Varnashi Aircraft Maintenance Division.

Every citizen above 15 years old and below 45 years old must join the military, but most people in the military are in the reserves and don’t do anything. If you want, however, you can apply to join become an Aunalin (Servant in Varnashi). After passing the Aunalin athletics test, you will be put through vigorous military training. If you pass, you will be able to choose your rite. After choosing your rite, you will be given training specifically for that rite, and if you pass that training, you can officially join the Seshelekashan Varnash (Varnashi Armed Guard). There are many things you can do in the SV. You can guard the streets as a gendarme, save people from drowning as a coast guard, join a Varnashi areobatic team, and if you’re really good at your job, guard the Aunalinyuneh (First Servant, or Chancellor in Varnashi). Aunalin would be used as generic infantry if Varnash were to be in a real war, citizens would be used as reserves, and Seshelekashan would be used as officers, would train Aunalin, and would pilot planes and boats. Training Aunalin may also take on special duties according to the rite they are studying. Spear Aunalin might be crewmen on boats, Arrow Aunalin might be technicians or medical personnel, and Sword Aunalin might be doing more specialized ground missions or might be used as more of a lower ranking officer.
