(ALTERNATE HISTORY FROM REAL LIFE STARTS FROM 1498)

In 1498, Duarte Pacheco Pereira, a military traveller of the portuguese King Dom Manuel I which was ordered to travel on the Atlantic, discovered land after the Tordesilhas Treaty (between Maranhão and Pará), by the plan he was ordered by the King to remain this discovery in secret, but Duarte sold the information to the Spanish Kingdom, and an attrition war exploded in between the two kingdoms to colonize this coast as the lusitanians claimed the right of the land as they have discovered it and the spanish imposing the treaty. The Pope Alexander VI had to intervene and redivide the line of the Treaty, estabilishing it near the contemporary division of Essequibo and Canaiman.

Two hundred years later in 1608, tuscans started to make their own settlements for exploration and habitation near the contemporary region of Guianna, away from the war. Their presence was tolerated until when they arrived in the delta of Berbice River, and claimed that land calling it Nova Firenze creating a prosperous village there in the next 2 years. They have also explored its outskirts down the river creating the villages of Linden and Ebini, further inland they discovered a huge native tribe. After years of attempts of convertion and dialogues, they found a way to communicate and assimilate the natives to Catholicism.

In 1783 was born Simón Bolívar the liberator of the South America in Caracas, on the spanish dominium, after waging war against the weak spanish crown, in 1817 the Third Venezuelan Republic was proclamed by him and he proceeded to convince local colonies of Essequibo and Tuscia to also revolt with him against Portugal and Tuscany, respectivelly. The war suceeded, and in a visit to Port of Caneva, Bolívar recognised the lands of the Guyana plate as a proto-nation separated from Gran Colombia called by him as Vel'Est which means "See the East".

The modern history is marked with military dictatorships, coups and external powers trying to have a hold of the third-world nation. A communist regime was even estabilished, although it was overthrown. Today, it is a stratocratic confederation that managed to become a power-house of the region as it became independent from the first world during the socialist reign as it brought and developed nuclear energy and weaponry.
