The Various Yugobatanian National Anthems

LinkYugobatanian National Anthem - “War Games”

Popularized shortly after OCorp came into power, the Yugobatanian National Anthem, better known as “War Games” by the public, is an interesting take upon the national anthem genre. It combines a mix of rock and pop instead of the traditional brass, horns, and the like of typical national anthems. It is played during events such as football games and military parades, and citizens sing along whenever it comes on. The song is sung in traditional Yugobatanian, but a more recent English version has been released.

Lyrics:
When we destroy bridges
And when we put our swords down
I wish that our games
our war games, are just a little softer

It doesn't matter who started
In the end we always stay silent
When there's so much to say
But there's no words, words to tell the truth

Ref.
Let the war games end now
because there's nothing left inside you, inside me
in my heart rain falls
in my soul black snow falls heavily

You , always too proud
I, stubborn as the night
and who will call whom first
who will give whom hands to caress

I feel bad again
circling around you like an evil wolf
because there's so much to say
But there's no words, words to tell the truth

Ref.

Let the war games end now
because there's nothing left inside you, inside me
in my heart rain falls
in my soul black snow falls heavily

Link Yugobatanian Air Force Anthem - “Let’s Love Each Other”

“Let’s Love Each Other” is the national anthem used by the Yugobatanian Air Force, technically the OCorp Air Force, as the YAF was disbanded after Solomon’s rule. It was popularized during his time, and is still used to this day. Its lyrics tell of two lovers dreaming about traveling around the world, yet its catchy tune has stuck with Yugobatanian aviation fans everywhere.

Lyrics:
My baby girl has lost her sleep
I found it, but I'm not giving it to her
She even dreams about Hollywood
and what is happening right now

She is a major diva, she's signing an autograph
for some guy from Rome
People are going crazy about her in the Moscow region
and what is happening right now

She has always wanted
for the world to revolve around her
Tonight you wake up my queen

Let go of that, let's love each other
You'll get over your dreams
When these arms hug you and take you away

LinkYugobatanian Army Anthem - “Favorite”

“Favorite” is a sure favorite of Yugobatania. First published by the YA (Yugobatanian Army) in the early 80’s, “Favorite” immediately began a hit classic and the official anthem of the YA. It’s now the anthem of the OCorp Army, and proudly played during marches and military parades.

Lyrics:
Father asks what I'll be tomorrow
But I don't know what I'm this morning
Mother says I am a white crow
That I look like those ragged people on the screen

Chorus:
Where are you fairies and wizards
All you unicorns from my childhood where are you now
Where are you my faithful heroes
Save your favorite now where are you now

I don't sleep like all the other people any more
In my dreams they are always judging me for something
The verdict is burn a guitar
And I don't even have the right to appeal
