The Imperial Fatherland Regional Map depicts the current political situation in the regional Role Play in regards to territory. In order to attain your own desired claim on the map you must have sent an application, which has been accepted by the Culture Secreteries. The nation that you claim to be in Role Play will appear on the map. If you wish to, you may send the link of your nation’s factbook to Imperial fatherland dispatch office who will then add it to the map roster.

We are looking for skilled and committed Role-Players. Our region's standards are very high. If you're unsure of your abilities, we recommend claiming part of the German Colonial Companies so you can learn how to be an expert roleplayer. Make sure you read all the rules and applications thoroughly before you apply for a nation in the Role Play.

• The light grey areas are a part of the German Colonial Companies. This means any nation which claims these areas is protected by and a subject of Germany but is largely independent. These areas are meant for players new to Nationstates, so if you think the world is scary claim these areas to get started.

• Mongolia is under Sino-Sovet influence after the nation there collapsed.

• Burma is under Chinese occupation, closely tied into the central bureaucracy.

• The Suez canal and surrounding area is an international zone protected by Germany.

• The West Bank is an independent Palestine, politically aligned with the state of Sadatland.

• Austria is being dismantled ala Yugoslavia. It is free to claim but has a strict pre-claim history.

• Turkey was crucial to past events and must be played as per its pre-claim history. It is a regular nationalist democratic Turkey.
