Convention Process Statement

After serious discussion and analysis of the drafting process and vote, we have decided to veto the current draft in favor of one the con-con edits collectively and puts to a final vote. We are currently working on something to present to all of you.

We have heard the complaints and general dissatisfaction with the last vote, and have to recognize it didn't gather any kind of a majority, nor does it hold a reasonable chance of passing a final vote. In addition to the alleged voter coercion and unreasonable campaigning.

We are thankful to all who participated and worked hard to develop their drafts. But this convention would be for naught if we simply adopt the best of the worst draft. We do not need another Celestial Union, but a constitution most us can agree works and will give Lazarus a bright future.
