North American Union (WIP)

The North American Union (NAU for short) is an alliance made of the nation that reside in North America and is both a military and economic alliance founded on the premise of safeguarding North American shores from external threats. Currently there are four members in the North American Union. These members are:

The Union( Imperial Eagle)

Bermuda (under jurisdiction of Orange-bourgogne but defense handled by the North American Union)

and

-greater canada-

The Charter of the North American Union is still a work in progress but Article 3 (Section 5) deals with attacks on member states of the NAU.

"Should any member of the North American Union be attacked by an outside power, it will thus be viewed as an attack on all members of the North American Union and the full weight and might of the alliance will be brought to bear."

However, in Article 5 (Section 6) it states:

"However, should any member without just cause attack an outside power not part of the North American Union or otherwise, will receive no aid from the other members of the Union and may face possible expulsion from the alliance."

Article 6 deals with the treatment of Prisoners of War whereas Article 7 deals the succession to the position of Secretary-General should the current Secretary-General be indisposed of dies while in office.

Future additions to the North American Charter may deal with treatment of inmates in national prison systems and death penalties
