Atium and Gold

Atium
An Allomancer burning atium is able to see into the future by a few seconds. Feruchemists can use atium to store age. The metal is a reflective, silvery colour, so much so that beads of atium almost appear to be drops of liquid.

Allomantic Use
An atium Misting is known as a Seer. Burning atium allows the user to see a few seconds into the future, by producing atium shadows of everything in sight. These shadows perform future actions. Burning atium expands the user's mind to be able to accept and process all of the information, even allowing the Allomancer to dodge incoming attacks from behind. If another Allomancer burning atium is encountered, the atium shadows will split, since each seeing into the other's future means that they can both make different decisions that affect both Allomancers' outcomes.

Feruchemical Use
Atium, when used by a Feruchemist, stores age. When storing age, the Feruchemist spends time older. When tapping age, the Feruchemist then spends time younger.
If the Feruchemist is also either an atium Misting or a Mistborn it is then possible to burn an atiummind to get an enormous burst of youth - allowing for practical immortality.

Gold
Gold is the internal temporal pulling metal. An Allomancer burning gold is able to see who they could have been in the past, had they made different choices. Feruchemists can use gold to store health.

Allomantic Use
A gold Misting is known as a Augur. An Augur burning gold is able to see a hallucination of who the user could have been, known as a "gold shadow." Due to the emotional stress associated with seeing one's alternate past, gold is not a very useful metal. Furthermore, touching the gold shadow while burning gold causes unpleasant side effects. Each time an Augur burns gold, they see a different image, as it changes depending on their current situation

Feruchemical Use
A gold Ferring is known as a Bloodmaker. Gold is used to store health. A goldmind can be tapped to both heal at an accelerated rate or to heal from wounds that would normally be fatal. It is hard to fill a goldmind, due to the fact that it requires the Bloodmaker to spend time sickly and weak. Gold does not heal diseases as efficiently as it heals wounds.

Gold healing works by aligning an individual's Physical aspect to their ideal self as recorded in their Spiritual aspect. This does not prevent them from aging or certain genetic diseases as those are considered part of the ideal.
