On Rhodinium

Rhodinium is a unique metal only found only in the Eleutherosophian Islands. The largest reserves are in the mountains of Sophiameros, Bounophotias of Enodos, and underground repositories in the other islands. It is a red color, verging on pink. In its pure form, it is very light. It is also extremely malleable, and it melts at 1,800 K.
It is used mainly in building highly effective rechargeable batteries. Rhodinium batteries have surprising specific energy, energy density, and cycle durability at 1500 Wh/kg, 1500 W/L, and 4000-5000 cycles.
Rhodinium also has many uses in construction. When alloyed with steel at about 10%, Rhodinium becomes very durable and strong, yet still light weight. All of the skyscrapers in Eleutherosophia are built on a Rhodinium skeleton.
Rhodinium is also useful in cookware. When alloyed with steel to provide durability, Rhodinium has a naturally non-stick surface and quickly heats and cools without contorting its shape.
Rhodinium is also used in making jewelry and other kinds of ornamentation. Its malleability and iridescent color make the some of the most beautiful rings and necklaces in the world.
