LAW CODE OF NORTH TURKESTAN

As North Turkestan grows and faces unique problems, its government must constantly come up with new laws to help maintain order and security in our glorious region. This record shows all the laws that have been passed (and repealed) since the publishing of the Constitution.

Law 1 - Passed May 3rd, 2019 (3-1)
It is hereby illegal to use more than five lines of text not written by the nation itself (including but not exclusive to copyrighted text) within North Turkestan. This law applies in our region's factbook as well as on the Regional Message Board.

Purpose:To reduce unwanted attention to the region by NationStates Moderators and help create a more welcoming environment.

Punishment: Any citizen or government official who violates this law is to have their citizenship suspended for a month, and a member who violates this law can not become a citizen for another three months. If any member, citizen or government official violates this crime more than three times, they are never allowed to become citizens. If any member, citizen or government official violates this crime more than five times, they are to be banished from North Turkestan for one year.

Law 2 - Passed June 8th, 2019 (2-1)
All laws proposed and approved by the Minister of Justice must be posted on the regional message board within 24 hours of approval by the Minister of Justice. After 24 hours, and no later than 48 hours after approval, the Minister of Justice must post the poll on whether the law should pass or not.

Purpose: To hasten the law making process, and allow North Turkestan to operate more effectively and efficiently.

Punishment: The Minister of Justice will receive a warning on the first two offences, followed by removal from office. No punishments regard citizenship or ability to run for the position again.
