Waste Disposal

The health of the environment is of the utmost importance to the nation of Bhàyawāla. In order to ensure a healthy city life, the government runs the Green Waste Elimination Initiative, GWEI for short. Items able to be recycled, such as the few plastics left in Bhàyawāla, are taken to the Samawana Recycling Plant, or other local plants, to be turned into raw materials to be reused in other products. Non-recyclable waste is taken to the Samawana Incineration Plant in which it begins a long process of disposal. In short, the waste is sorted, burnt, and filtered so that the air around the plant is sometimes cleaner than in the rest of the city. The energy created from burning this is then shifted to power the rest of the country in addition to the geothermal and hydro energy initiatives. These programs mean Bhàyawālais in no short need of energy and rarely has to import raw materials. In fact, a great deal of Bhàya imports are of foreign trash to fuel the GWEP.
