The Lunar Punch-Outs were a series of two related barfighting incidents occurring in the commons of the Belarian and Alanoran Lunar Colonies, both now part of the Tiraminan Lunar Colony. It is notable for being the first violent altercation to take place on the Tiraminan moon. The incidents occurred shortly following the broadcast of the beginning of The War between the Belarian Bloc and the Alanoran Bloc, and for forming the only two battles fought in the Lunar Front. Disciplinary action by the Belarian and Alanoran administrators of their respective colonies effectively stopped the fighting for the rest of The War.
Background
Tensions had been rising between the Alanoran Bloc and the Belarian Bloc on the planet Tiramina for years. Although they were held in relative peace by the threat of mutually assured destruction, the allegedly accidental launch of a nuclear warhead at the Alanoran military base in Biren Temeral led broke the peace and led to the deadliest war in Tiraminan history. The news of the devastation caused by the initial nuclear blast and subsequent declaration of war in 182 EY reached the Lunar Colony shortly after it took place. Tensions between the Belarians and the Alanorans rose in the lunar colonies after this.

First Lunar Punch-Out
One of the personnel attached to the Alanoran Lunar Colony, Kelten Tamak, was severely angered by the news of the nuclear warhead that Belar has launched at Alanora. Tamak put on a space suit and stormed out of the Alanoran commons, despite objections from his peers. Some Alanorans also donned space suits to watch where he was going and what he would do, and arrived with him at the Belarian commons. Tamak, in his rage, singled out a particular Voltar Remir, and started a fight. Remir responded with his own punches, and the fight lasted approximately 15 minutes before it was broken up. Both participants sustained minor injuries and retreated to their respective infirmaries. Tamak was scolded for his behavior.
Second Lunar Punch-Out
A day after the First Lunar Punch-Out, the news of an Alanoran nuclear bomb launched at the Belarians pushed Remir to go the Alanoran Lunar Base to deliver, as he stated in his own words, "payback for that guy." He too stormed out of his lunar colony and towards the Alanoran Lunar Colony's commons, where he found Tamak and started a fight with him. Tamak answered his challenge, and the fighting lasted about 15 minutes before it was broken up. Once again, both participants sustained minor injuries. Remir was scolded for his behavior.
Aftermath
The Lunar Punch-Outs called out the importance of establishing an official stance of the Lunar Colonies on the events of The War. After disciplinary actions were carried out on both participants, Tamak and Remir, the administrators of each lunar colony met to declare an official ceasefire on the Lunar Front. With the regular shipments of goods from Tiramina halted due to The War, the lunar colonies realized the importance of working together lest survival on the moon be jeopardized.
