Leader's Journal: Not again... -.-

When did no compensation happen...? But now a priceless vase has been destroyed, through the general incompetence of a visiting museum and their refusal to follow basic precautions...

So here we are with a boiling argument and threats of all kinds if Karmagedon refuses to pay for the broken vase, but it seems during my brief holiday, or made it was at that party a few months ago... I am sure there was something in the punch... In any case, a no compensation statute became law. And while we could even off up some of our own artefacts for display in their country (on loan) they want cash, which would require a law change...

There was screaming, shouting and shoving, as accusations flew around the office. I have a real brain-buster of a headache coming on at this point, and then the museum curator broke a one of a kind Karmagedon artefact. Not an accidental bump as with the vase, but deliberately...

"Either calm down, or TAKE IT OUTSIDE AND FIGHT TO THE DEATH, just NOT in my office!" Err... well, I could blame the headache, but it seems they took it seriously, since guards were not allow to interfere because "Muh diplomatic immunity!" And that museum is now short a curator...

On the bright side, the broken artefacts are being "restored" and are going on a tour afterwards. . . With a reminder that bring the army compensatory argument to court could result in a duel. Not sure if this is good or bad, but an Arbitration Comity with real teeth has been set up to deal with the fallout, what some might call a "small-medium claims court". Maybe it will all work out for the best!
