Thalassia Cards Guide

WIP I'll do this eventually

A Thassalian Guide to Cards

What are Cards?
Cards are a cosmetic feature of the game first introduced on April 1st 2018 as an April Fools event. At Christmas that year, cards were reintroduced as a permanent feature within the game. Cards are like snapshots for a certain period of time, and only nations that existed in during that time will have received a card for that season. The seasons are as follows:

  • Season 1 - April 1st 2019

  • Season 2 - N/A

Every season, every nation that existed at the time of the snapshot is assigned a rarity, they are as follows:

  • Legendary

  • Epic

  • Ultra Rare

  • Rare

  • Uncommon

  • Common

The rarity is believed to be calculated using a number of factors. Primarily Stat Badges. Stat badges are the badges on a nation page that show their NSStats within a certain field. The more Gold (Top 1%) Badges a nation has, the higher the rarity. Alongside this, Influence and Endorsement are believed to be a key factor in rarity, alongside badges such as SecGen, Mod, Admin, Issues Editor, Delegate, Commendations, Condemnations, Issues Author, General Assembly Author, Security Council Author and Founder. The more of these badges a nation holds, the higher the rarity is expected to be.
How do I find my card?
To find your card you need to find your deck, within your deck is an option to view your own card. However, if you have not been around for any of the seasons then you won't have a card!
For a picture based guide, click here.
Your card can be found in packs by anyone, and anyone can trade it. However, if your nation CTEs (Ceases to Exist), your card will no longer be able to be found in packs, making it rarer, but it may still be traded. An anomaly in Season 1 is nations who CTE'd and was not around for the cards relaunch around Christmas were given the "Ex-Nation" flag, this is unlikely to happen in future seasons.

A Guide to Trading
So, to start trading with the wider world you are going to need a few things, primarily Bank. Bank is the common term used for the Cards Game currency since it officially has no term. There are 2 ways of gaining bank, junking and selling.
Junking
To junk, you have to select what card you want to junk and press on it. Once you've pressed on it, press the "Junk" Button. This will give you the card's Junk Value as Bank.
Remember always check for bids on a card before you junk it, or you could loose out on money!
Junk Value can be found here!

Selling
To sell cards, you need to partake in the auction system, it's how people buy and sell cards. Whenever someone has a bid, you can place an ask to match that. Those will match and an hour long timer will start before the transaction finishes. You will get the amount you asked, and they will get your card. However, sometimes someone may ask lower than you!
A Full explanation will be located just below this in the Auctions Section.

Auctions
Auctions is one of, if not the most important function within the Cards game, it is how people buy and sell card, as well as transfer bank.
