Two Weeks - Now completely non-financial! | 24/9-14/10
Gday and welcome back to Two Weeks. Before I begin I’d like to welcome the nation to our hallowed map for this fortnight: DoravoA couple things I want to plug first: Our favourite Swiss kiwi is starting up a chess tournament: Click here to get to the OOC for that This is the Financial TWImes. It exists, you’ve probably seen it before this extraordinary late edition of Two Weeks and if you haven’t read it you should. There wasn’t heaps on the agenda this past 19 days so I’ve bunched the threads together. As always, you can find the threads via the NS forums or by clicking here: Bunch of rebellious lads from Mokov seem to be turning on one another, whilst the Almorean congress is a bit concerned that there may be economic troubles coming for their nation (last time I checked, this was already the situation). We also get an update from ThePenguinLand about bills going through the Parliament and there’s now what appears to be an atheist terrorist in Haasar? Bunch of classified media documents get dropped by government ministers, causing the Nhooran parliament into an emergency session. It looks like as well that Martenyika has had a human trafficking crackdown which has had bittersweet results. There’s also a forest fire in Keverai, with the home nation of a multinational company threatened by it rushing to support the Keveraites. That doesn’t seem dodgy at all. We get a period-piece meme on TWItter from what is now Suvurnia again, the equivalant to a minister of transport in the Alteran Republics apologises for rail delays whilst they also get all environmental (plz bring the moss walls to ainslie we’ll pay you). Some crazy Havallish lad critiques the urban environmental aesthetic before one of the Alteran Minister-equivelants gives a sane and rational answer and then we get a reply where the Havallish guy says everytime he sees it he wants to die of cancer. Keveraite Emergency Management goes to panic stations as a suspicious fire starts up near a palm plantation owned by a foreign multinational company. Noronica and Altera further highlight their naval collaboration whilst the head guy of defence from Altera drops a new boat design. Suvurnia’s also getting around to allowing visa free status for people coming to visit for chess? Nezaeva drops by the League to say he supports the genetic modification of the hornets. Oh, by the way, every time I’ve mentioned fortnight here is completely redudant - this is for the past 19 (nineteen I think at least?) days that I’ve had my head down doing assessments.
