House Bill 25: House Special Elections Act
Purpose: To allow the House to call for a Special Election to fill vacant seats.
Article 1: Election Rules
1. The Speaker may call a special election if the House is not filled to capacity.
2. Special Elections shall not be held if the next scheduled election is less than 3 weeks away.
Article 2: Election Process
1. House Special Elections will follow the standard election process.
