Cedoria's Feburary 2020 Central Committee Election Campaign.

As a candidate for the Central Committee of NSLeft, I feel I owe it to members of NSLeft to articulate my objectives and what I bring to the table.

Let me begin by saying that I was surprised but am gratified to receive the nomination and will endeavour to prove myself worthy of it. I accepted the nomination because I feel NSLeft can benefit by my inclusion as a strong and active voice on its Central Committee.

As somebody who created my main nation almost six years ago, I have a long and storied history in NSLeft. From my original membership in the now-defunct Communist Region, when myself and Comrade Atealia were ejected from that region's dictatorial government in a mass purge, we decided to forge a new community on the left that represented the values we wanted to see from the region we were forced out of. We believed in the values of democracy, pan-leftism, equality and solidarity among members. A place for open debate and a place where all on the left could feel safe and welcome, and a place that would play the necessary part to counteract the threat from the right. This dream began in the Democratic Socialist Union and then evolved into The Leftist Assembly after our merger with our former comrades in TCR after the fall of it's old government. Now, the community I co-founded has celebrated it's 4th anniversary and is the second-largest region on NSLeft. I have served three terms as Secretary and WA Delegate of TLA and am largely the architect of the legislative and political and government gameplay that the region now makes extensive use of. While many changes in this system have been added by so many great contributors to our community since then, I can say proudly that my accomplishments have been a not insignificant part of making TLA a strong, vibrant, welcoming and influential community it is today. I also was one of the first NSLeft leaders to advocate re-establishing relations with The Communist Bloc, and re-opening relations with them under my third and final term as WA Delegate triggered a broader rapproachment which led to that great region joining us today.

As some may know, I have on occasion had disagreements in the past with aspects of how NSLeft and the like were run. With the recent changes to the Solidarity Pact and a more diverse make-up of citizens from many member regions involved in the leadership, I feel NSLeft has become an organisation that has largely addressed some of my previous criticisms. Thus, in accordance with my long-state positions on the proper role for interregional organisations such as this one, If elected to the Central Committee, I will operate according to the following principles.

- An equal role for all member regions in giving voice and shape to NSLeft proposals. Regions of all sizes that are members of NSLeft can expect a fair hearing from me on any proposal they wish discussed, whether they are large or small.

- A focus on NSLeft achieving broad consensus for any initiative it wishes to undertake, and an increased focus on artistic and cultural activities that are interregional in focus. From time to time I have felt NSLeft has not always done as much as it could too unite our member regions together in the past, and I feel there are more interr-regional activities that could be proposed to strengthen ties. Things such as interregional art competitions, a song-writing and poetry contest are all suggestions I am prepared to suggest which would permit entrants from all member regions of NSLeft to share ideas and creations with each other to build solidarity and understanding. Likewise I will encourage multiple regional Discord membership to foster further discussion and solidarity from member regions with people all around the world.

- Continued support for the activities of NSLeft and The Red Fleet's military activities to counteract Fascist, Nazi, Alt-Right and other hate groups on NS. Whenever such activities are undertaken, one can expect I will support such operations against all legitimate targets, and defend criticism that may come our way from misguided elements of NS. While not every region is interested in such activities, and should not be forced to participate, I will certainly encourage and support such efforts wherever they are necessary. TRF is a part of our organisation that can expect my support.

I wish good luck to all prospective candidates and thank my comrades for the unexpected honour in nominating me. Whatever the results, I am prepared to work for greater solidarity between NSLeft's member regions.

Unity in Diversity! Long Live NSLeft!
