University of the West Pacific Project: Why TWP?

I found NationStates by searching for nation simulator games. It was quite the find, and starting 10th of August of 2019, I started to answer these issues and collect some cards, but not much farther than that. I stayed like an issues-only player for 2 months.

Later, I acknowledged the existence of other regions. I tried exploring other Pacifics, and their larger WA populations and power due to more Delegate endorsements were tempting, but their RMBs were too active to the point of having too much meaningless posts and spam. So I decided to stay here, and the activities like Haikuesday and Punday Monday caught my eye so I started posting on the RMB too. In October, I also joined the forums, applied for citizenship, and also participated on Z-Day, gaining an award of 'Hero of the West'.

A month later, in November, I also joined the Discord. Elections soon happened, and I decided not to run for anything since it was so little time since I became involced. Instead, I just voted. I knew everything had its time, and since TWP is a meritocracy, I had to contribute and be an active member to be, then, recognized.

I decided to apply for Foreign Affairs, and I can say that it helped me to discover other amazing NS communities different than TWP, like Europeia and Balder. Then I applied also to Recruitment (now WA/R) to help new nations to get involved. Furthermore, the RP part of TWP got me interested, so I applied to join the map.

I quickly realized that the West Pacific was the best region I could be in, and since I was interested in the little card trading game ever since I created my nation, I also started collecting cards of every nation in the region, a collection that is now almost complete and saw the contribution of many other West Pacificans.

In these last two months, I've been very active in all the parts of the region I'm interested and interacted with other regions in activities such as OWL-20. I hope that it will stay that way, because the West is indeed the Best Pacific.
