Kamunting - [nation]Kamunting[/nation]'s tourism sector observed a slight drop in revenue since the Novel Coronavirus outbreak according to Ministry of Tourism [nation]Kamunting[/nation].

"90% of tourist travel via air. With the clampdown on air travel, all nation that depend on tourism as source of income will take a hard hit," said Minister Masrina MH.

She added that while it is not advisable for Kamuntingians to travel abroad unless necessary, local travelers are encouraged to travel locally.

"However, it is important that it is to be done with extreme precaution," she added.

The 2 tourists that were found to display symptoms are still in quarantined. As of yesterday, 6 new cases have been detected and all 6 victims are being quarantined.
Advert
