Versions:

- M1114: uparmored version of the HMMWV. Is fitted with add-on armor kit which provides protection against 7.62 mm armor-piercing rounds and artillery shell splinters. It withstands mine blasts equivalent to 5.4 kg of TNT at the front and equivalent to 1.8 kg of TNT at the rear.

- M1151: Enhanced Armament Carrier. is an improved model of the M1114. The M1151 was specially designed to have the same track width as main battle tanks. Payload capacity also ranges from 1 515 to 2 313 kg depending on armor configuration. The M1151 can tow trailers and light artillery pieces with a maximum weight of 1 905 kg.

Mission: The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Family of Vehicles (FoV) is an Army-led, joint-service program designed to replace a portion of each service’s light tactical wheeled vehicle fleets while closing an existing capability gap. Intended to provide protected, sustained, networked mobility for personnel and payloads across the full range of military operations, the JLTV FoV will restore the fleet’s balance of payload, performance and protection. The are a number of specialized versions of this armored vehicle. The VBL can also be used by the panamanian armed forces for anti-tank missions.
