Schools Closed in Planet Suria due to COVID-19 Fears, Premier Kidnapped and The Zone (2738 AD)

Tuning in to the latest happenings on Planet Suria, we go to the top stories today. Recently, schools have now been closed off early at noon despite having no increase in cases. The Lusurian scientific community has been investing their funds on research blueprints for the vaccine, which is currently in development. A week ago, in other news, the Premier has disappeared without explanation. Security footage in the meeting room recorded a strange fluctuation in the space-time continuum that a portal leading to some hyper-reality universe has been wide open, even though no such portal was constructed at the time. Military officials from the Blue District were initially baffled at the footage until it was found a mad scientist with glasses and blonde hair were captured on camera kidnapping the Premier in broad daylight, then the portal disappeared within moments.

In military news, the Golden Phoenix creature according to the Lusurian government is "officially ready to take the skies against her enemies", but as there is no current sign of any possible foreign attack, the creature is adjusting to its own habitat within a small dry field far from civilization.
