Hello Conch Kingdom. I am Liberto-Ancapistan, best known for being the person that updates the map. I am running for Congress, in the hopes of making Conch Kingdom an even better region than it already is.

I joined Conch Kingdom with my current nation in January 2020, and joined the regional AA discord in April of that year. Since then, I've been consistently active within the region. I'm an active participant in Conch Kingdom RP and became Cartographer in June, and ran for PM in July (wining 1/4 of the vote).

While I have not yet served in the more 'political' parts of the government, I do have the valuable experience of being part of it; you'll be able to trust me with knowing how it all works. I'm also active on both Discord and the RMB, something which I believe is vital for any member of the government. As a Congressman, I will pay attention to every part of our region, and act according to it's culture. Here are my attitudes to legislation:

• I believe that Conch Kingdom is already a great region with a well-developed system of laws. I won't pursue radical legislation for the sake of change, and would instead only do so in circumstances where it is clearly needed.

• I'm skeptical of new legislation, but open-minded. Bills need to justify their superiority over what's already in place, and if they can do that, they will have my support.

• Recognising the fact that good government is essential to Conch Kingdom's continued success, I will not hesitate to initiate or support the impeachment of clearly incompetent members of Congress.

Whether I gain a seat in Congress or not, it's makeup is very important to this region. Here are my recommendations on voting:

• First Choice: Liberto-Ancapistan. They seem to agree with me on practically everything.

• Second and Third Choices: Gibraltarica and Free Azell (in that order). As these nations are running together, they will be ranked together. Gibraltarica and Free Azell are the most experienced nations aiming to enter Congress, and it would be a great shame if either of them did not get in. Their presence in Congress would, I believe, allow it to start more smoothly and allow less experienced nations to get to know procedure.

• Fourth Choice: Kursibar. Being placed so low on this ranking is a disservice to Kursibar, but (un?)fortunately the three candidates above are excellent. As far as I have seen Kursibar has the maturity and insight to be a good member of Congress.

• Fifth Choice: Aelandi. Aelandi is dependable, active and informed enough to be a good legislator. If they weren't already in the government, they could well be higher in this ranking.

• Sixth Choice: Hubdova. Hubdova is the newest nation that would enter Congress under my ranking. I have not seen any problems with them other than that lack of experience and little discord activity (which would probably change if they were elected).

• Seventh Choice: Reverya. Reverya is all-but inactive on the RMB, somewhere where I think community outreach is very important.

• Eighth Choice: Weeturds. Weeturds should drop out. Nations in Congress (unofficially) need to be on the AA's discord, because that's where debates and votes happen. Weeturds did join the server, but they are not verified and so cannot actually see or use it.
