Baaasian Election Ends

The Baaasian parliamentary elections have finally come to a close with another win for the Democratic Socialist Party (Gaele Shocalishanto-Liberecentra,) albeit quite a narrow victory. Prime Minister Alinda Mani, having reached her term limit, will not serve as PM anymore, but is being replaced by her former Vice Prime Minister, Benatsa Tsanitso, who will be sworn in on March 10th. Tsanitso has very similar views with Mani, and people expect him to be basically a continuation of Mani's Prime Ministership.

Here are the current parliamentary standings after the election:

- The Liberal Party / Gaele Fretant (21 seats)
- The Conservative Party / Gaele Quodstas (103 seats)
- The Worker's Party / Gaele Vagerant (11 seats)
- The Democratic Socialist Party / Gaele Shocalishanto-Liberecentra (134 seats)
- The Patriot Party / Gaele Nationiashanto (2 seats)
- The Centrist Party / Gaele Midi (23 seats)
