(News Archived) A Failed Coup Attempt

Prime Minister Ingrid Haney had just claimed through an emergency press conference that a coup d'etat attempt has been foiled early this morning after a 2-hour violent conflict at the Great Square in Erisete City, with more than 1,000 pro-coup soldiers surrendered.

"We will ensure zero-tolerance for any of the soldiers who wants the Oligarchy back," Haney said, "Erisete is, and must be, a land of freedom, by people for people."

She has also confirmed publicly that her government is considering the abolition of the Conscription policy.
