Cliques of Jesia

In Jesia, there is no other party. No other leaders. No one but the Emperor. All serve under the Imperial House

However, even in such a unilateral system, there are still cliques that compete and cooperate with each other.
These are the Military, The Zaibatsu and Koyai, and the Priests of Akira.

The Military
The Military (Airforce, Army, Navy) seeks favor with the Emperor for more expansion and war, however the Military is more aligned with the idea of a Jesian nation-state, wishing for the establishment of executive and legislative powers, all under the military rather than government. They wish to create a Military-State, under the control of the Generals of Jesia, prioritizing conquest over administration. They also want a Shogun to be in control of Jesia, a true leader of Jesia who still serves the great honorable cause of the Emperor, yet takes the burden of being a leader for the Jesian people.

The Zaibastu and Koyai
The Zaibastu and Koyai, while two different things, both have the same interests in mind. The complete domination of Jesian economy, industry, and people. A Zaibastu is a industrial and financial vertically integrated business conglomerate that has great power and influence. They can hire their own private army, administrate their own corporate towns, and can even influence and have a say in the government. A Koyai is a group of wealthy and influential individuals who have power within the Zaibastu and the government. They prioritize secrecy and confidentiality the most as well. Some of Koyai groups are criminal in nature. They wish to dissolve the Jesian nation-state, and make Jesia into a government-less entity, while still retaining loyalty and subservience to the Imperial family.

Priests of Akira
The Priests of Akira are part of a greater sect known as the "聖なる太陽の司祭" or "Priests of the Holy Sun". The Priests of the Holy Sun are the driving force behind Jesian beliefs and culture, and their presence is known everywhere. They have been a part of Jesian governance since the first Emperor. Their main beliefs are devotion to Lord Akira and the Emperor, the perseveration and spread of Jesian culture, and ultimate harmony of the Jesian people under the Imperial House and Lord Akira. The Priests of Akira are the main figureheads of this sect, and are the top of the top. They both study and preach at the highest order. However, they are somewhat fanatical, because they despise the notion of a government not under pure leadership of the Emperor and Priests of the Holy Sun and wish to abolish it in order for a more feudalistic system comprised of daiyamos and temple governments.
