Religions of the Country

While years of state atheism have had the effect of largely secularizing Derhem Sulteneti society, there has been a spiritualist and traditional-religion revival since the 1990s in the country as various tribal groups have not only been allowed to express their faiths, but encouraged to do so by government assistance to their religious ceremonies. As of the 2020 census, this was how people responded when asked "what religion or spirituality are you?"

Atheist or secular: 45%

Jhedeh'ism: 25% (monotheistic but in a metaphorical sense, reveres nature and seeks the harmony of all living things, semi-paganistic)

Weh'zudism: 18% (it's the spiritualistic religion that descends from the cult of the Goat God of the Remah)

Tebiatism: 9% (sees spirits and gods in all things, living or non-living, but mostly seeks to revere the living and worship nature)

Others: 3%
