Petrosyan Copypasta: One of Callista's main jokes. A copypasta-esque rant from Tigran L. Petrosyan, an Armenian chess player, was turned into a copypasta. The main pioneers of the copypasta are Barlyy and Nooooooooooooooooo.

Noooooooooo's Deleted Posts: Nooooooooooooooo, an active member of Callista, frequently deletes their own posts in order to bypass the triple-posting rule. A large portion of their posts are deleted ones.

Youtube links: Yet another regional joke. Links to obscure videos are usually posted by people such as Nooooooooooooo and Dollystana.

not capitalizing: most members use capital letters in their posts, but newer folks have started to not capitalize their posts. so sad!

Map RP: The Callistan roleplay that is roleplayed over a world map. Fairly self-explanatory.

The Baloominati: The most influential party in Callista which held a monopoly over Callistan politics for over a year. Founded by Baloo, popularized by Baloo & Barlyy ("The Disney Brothers").

Amogus memes: A type of meme that used to be very popular, but has (thankfully) lost popularity.

Nooooooooooo fun facts: Nooooooooooo usually lodges posts with "Fun fact:" at the start of them.

Hamilton references: References to songs in Hamilton: An American Musical. Popularized by Barlyy.

Infants: Sorianora, Noooooooooooooo, and Cerata are usually correctly labeled as "infants".

In-depth RP: A type of roleplay that has boomed thanks to the Vincentian exodus.

Barlyy and Ari go bye bye: Barlyy and Arisyan have recently left Callista and moved to Konglomera. This was met by some members being upset, but nothing significant.

Aaron Judge: The Dream of Kirby—whose real name is Aaron—was recently elected to be the Interim Justice. However, after Arisyan resigned from their Head Justice position, Aaron was promoted to Head Justice.

Minecraft Realms: There have been three separate Minecraft Realms in Callista. The first two were successful, while the third one wasn't as successful.

"Be a man": "Be a man" is the signature catchphrase of Zebruski, a member in Callista.

Voice reveals: There have been many voice reveals in Callista such as Barlyy's, Sori's, Baloo's, and Cerata's.

Where Season 3: Yet another Callistan joke. This is a sarcastic question that signifies how delayed Season 3's release has been.

Messenger A: A mysterious member of Callista.

TVE merge: The Vincence Empire requested a merge between Callista and TVE. The request was denied, but most members of TVE joined Callista regardless.

Meme dispatch: The infamous meme dispatch where Callistans make memes about Callista/NS in general.

The Balooist Dispatch: An insanely long dispatch written by Barlyy which covers the Baloominati's beliefs, its success, and its rise to power.

Ari is a puppet: Arisyan, a former Callistan who has been one of the most active people in its government, is actually a puppet of the user behind the nation called "Anatoliyanskiy".

Briteannia, UDE, and Brillelund's identity: These are all puppets of Barlyy which were used to rig the elections in Bluecrown Keep in Barlyy's favor.

Literally 1984: Yet another Callistan joke. It sarcastically compares a situation to the situation in George Orwell's famous book "1984" which is incredibly authoritarian.

No Barlyy November: A reference to Barlyy taking a break from NationStates in November 2021. The name is a reference to the infamous "NNN".

Aaron Kurr: A pseudonym used by Kirby. It's a reference to Aaron Burr (burr+kirby=kurr).

Sori Florida man: Sorianora went to Florida. Self-explanatory.

The Great Spam: A buzzword invented by Arisyan which is used to describe the events in late-May 2021. It was a period where the RMB was completely filled with spam conversations.

One Party State: An act that would turn Callista into a one-party state was proposed by Barlyy in February 2022. It was ratified by the Cabinet, but was quickly repealed due to the populace disagreeing with the act.

Kirby-19/Kirbovirus: A fictional disease made up by The Dream of Kirby.

Deltarune flags: There was a period of time in which many members started using flags with characters from the game Deltarune on them.

Cerata Ban: Cerata was banned once in June 2021, and was also recently banned in February 2022 for spamming.

Bar Vegas: A short-lived region that was founded by Barlyy after The Great Spam in late-May 2021. Barlyy rejoined Callista after only a day.

Saga of Bruxxa Iceberg: There is an iceberg dispatch—similar to this one made by Haruhi Japan that covers things that have happened in the regional line as a whole.

Sori's Hair & Sori's room: Sorianora briefly showed off his hair and parts of his room in a Discord voice call which was held in Callista's regional Discord.

"Just go on vacation Ari!": Arisyan, despite repeatedly claiming that they would "go on vacation" and "stop logging on to NS for a while", remains somewhat active. "Just go on vacation Ari" references this, and is a phrase that has been used by many Callistans [mainly Barlyy].

The Great Ohioan Disappreance of Feb. 18: On February 18 2020, a lot of Callistans from Ohio—Sorianora, Baloo Kingdom, and Kirby—were inactive. This caused a huge drop in regional activity on Feb. 18.

NeutraIKEA: A region that was founded by Barlyy shortly before the complete collapse of Bluecrown Keep. It was used by Barlyy for a long time, but Barlyy proceeded to leave the region and moved to Callista.

Toptoon ads: Clickbaity manga ads.

Shere Khan: A nickname given to Poskukune, a former Head Justice in Callista. Plus, Shere Khan Kingdom is the name of a mysterious spammer based off of who flamed Baloo and made a region created to make fun of him. The name "Shere Khan Kingdom" is also based off of the Jungle Book, just like Baloo.

The Tsarist Party: A party that was originally founded by Plus Nova Imperii in Callista. After a while, it merged with the Baloominati to form the Tsarist-Baloominati coalition, but its voice remained relatively unheard. It was officially abolished after Plus Nova Imperii (AKA "Rome") left Callista, but recently has been resurrected by Yazakhastan and Rome under the name "The New Tsarist Party".

Bribes: Another Callistan joke. Barlyy has often been accused of "bribery", and he has embraced the joke by attempting to bribe people as a joke.

Harold was judge: Haroldiaistan, an OG member of Callista, was one of the first ever Head Justices.

Milt = Sori: A joke entry to the iceberg. Milt the Hippo, a member of Callista, often uses puppets in order to form artificial conversations between himself. The iceberg jokes about how Milt is a puppet of Sorianora (which is incorrect).

Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe: A flag that Kirby had for a while.

You don't exist: A Callistan joke. It was popularized by Barlyy, Nooooooooooooo, and Sori, but is no longer in use.

Ohio Burger News Network: A meme-y "news" dispatch that covers meme-y topics in Callista. It was originally founded by Viciebskaja in Bluecrown Keep, but is now jointly published by Dominioan and Noooooooooooooooo.

YHAR puppet fraud: Yes Humans Are Recyclable, a candidate for PM in the October 2021 elections, committed puppet fraud by using a puppet, 8000, and voting for himself through said puppet. Barlyy and Sorianora realized this, and after some investigations by Barlyy, it was revealed that 8000 was his puppet. He was banned for 3 months for this.

Callista-themed flags: After the late-May crack in the region commenced, many Callistans switched their flags to modified versions of the Callistan flag (without the eagle) in order to boost morale.

Barlyy toes: "Barlyy toes" is one of the weird things people say, but Barlyy toes is something they kept saying. Not sure why.

OwO UwU E: Yet another Callistan joke. It was primarily used by Barlyy and Nooooooooooooooo and was mainly pointed towards Baloo. It was also the first post, but it has been edited.

Posk Capitalizing Every Word: Poskukune, The Aforementioned Head Justice, Usually Capitalizes Every Single Word When Posting.

Callista straight up dies: Callista has often been on the brink of total collapse but has managed to survive every single time.

Baloo woke Thanksgiving flag: Self-explanatory. Baloo had a woke flag for Thanksgiving.

Cerata was Judge: Cerata won a snap Head Justice election on November 21 2021, but resigned from their position after Barlyy came back to NationStates.

JUST RESIGN!!!!!!!: A post by Mathuvan Union which was directed at Rome. This was way back when MU was Prime Minister. MU claimed that Rome was biased towards him, and that he should "just resign".

Impeach Arisyan: After Arisyan rejected an embassy without permission from anybody, Mathuvan Union—the PM at the time—tried to impeach Arisyan. The proposal was defeated with the only person voting in favor of the proposal being MU himself.

Baloo and Sori are Barlyy puppets: Another regional joke. It's often speculated [in a sarcastic way] that everyone is secretly a Barlyy puppet.

TurquoisePlayz: A mysterious NationStates player who controlled the nation "SBBseize" which occupied SomeBadBoys, a region that is significant to Barlyy.

RollingKittens: A series of Sorianora's puppets which were used for card farming.

Triggered Kirby: When Kirby is angry, he gets triggered.

Baloo becomes WA: Baloo was banned from the WA for a long time for keeping two nations in the WA at once. The ban expired after a while, and Baloo proceeded to rejoin the WA.

Ohio Burger Nuke Network: The faction name of Callista on N-Day 2021.

Rome and CVB are married: Rome and Caesar Von Bingen are married in character.

Sori thought people would recognize the name: After TVK fell, and no one knew where to go, Sorianora made a failed region called Castilla (read that carefully!). When everyone moved to Callista, Sori was like “hey look at the cool throwback name, y’all remember this?”, but no one had ever heard of it.

Skinny Baloo: A meme photo in which Baloo from the Jungle Book has a very skinny body.

Fighting Shere Khan's force ghost: A joke posted by Noooooooooooooooo. A very obscure entry, I must say.

Minecraft Realm 3: An unsuccessful realm.

Traveness is Harold: Traveness was one of the regional officers in the Tavern and posted in the same way as Harold. They left for TVK when it was founded, (keep in mind that the tavern had not collapsed yet) and Haruhi Japan gave them an RO position. Traveness banjected several nations who they claimed were puppets, but HJ knew that they weren't, so Traveness was banned instead. It was then revealed that Traveness was Haroldiaistan.

Is this what Kirby would do?: The Dream of Kirby's former motto.

Mod Visit: The moderators visited our humble region after several nations that were impersonating Callistans were reported.

Sori's Minecraft Fanfic World: Sorianora had a private Minecraft world in which he'd put two beds next to each other and put signs on them that signified whose beds they were (Barlyy and Arisyan come to mind). He revealed this world in a Discord voice call.

We made amogus: Nooooooooo said “amog us” before the meme was popular.
