The United States of Dictators (U.S.D or USD) or commonly known as Dictators is a country primarily located in the continent of Peyone. It consists of 200 federal districts, 3 unincorporated territories and 17 islands in the Hudren Ocean. At 15.2 million square kilometres (5.8 million square miles). It is the second-largest country by land area and largest country by total area on the planet of Xena. The United States of Dictators shares land borders with Ambrosia to the north and Lohari to the south as well as maritime borders with Herzoslovakia, Duago and Baltsiana among others. With 702 million people, it's the fifth most populous country on Xena. The national capital and financial capital is Wilmington.

The United States of Dictators is a federal presidential constitutional republic with two separate branches of government, including a bicameral legislature. It is a founding member of the Union for Peyonian States, World Bank, International Fund, Xenian Peace Organisation, Xenian Health Organisation and the Xenian Union. It is a permanent member of the Xenian Union Security Council. It is an incredibly diverse country with different ethnicities and cultures. The United States of Dictators is a liberal democracy; It ranks high in economic freedom, quality of life, education and human rights; It ranks ‘very low’ on the Corruption Index. It has universal healthcare, low levels of incarceration and low levels of inequality.

The United States of Dictators is a highly developed country, and its economy accounts for approximately 20% of the Xenian GDP. The United States of Dictators is the largest importer and third largest exporter of goods. Even if it only has 5.4% of the world population, It holds 35% of the total wealth in the world, the largest share held by any country in Xena. It makes up more than a third of global military spending, It is the foremost military power in Xena, and a leading culture, political and scientific force.

History
The first documented arrival of Herzoslovakians in the United States of Dictators was on 11th June 1765. When Herzoslovakian explorers found new lands in the newly discovered continent Peyone.

Independence
Main Article: Independence War of 1834

Independence War of 1834 was fought by the Dictatorisian Free State against Herzoslovakia. It had formally ended with a peace treaty on 6th March 1834. After the war founding father Andrew Aiden created what is known today as The United States of Dictators, and created the Constitution, Government and Legislature of the newly created state.

Civil War
Irreconcilable sectional conflict regarding the enslavement of Black and Black Dictatorisians ultimately led to the Dictatorisian Civil War. Thirteen slave states declared secession and formed the Union of Dictatorisians, (The North) and the federal government (The Union) (the "North" or the "Union"), the federal government (the "Union") maintained that secession was illegal. In order to bring about this secession, military action was initiated by the secessionists, and the Union responded in kind. The ensuing war would become the deadliest military conflict in Dictatorisian history, resulting in the deaths of approximately 620,000 soldiers as well as upwards of 50,000 civilians. The Union initially simply fought to keep the country united. In 1924 when the war ended amendments were also ratified, ensuring citizenship and voting rights for Blacks.

Government and Politics

USD is split into 200 federal districts, each with their own governments, these districts are represented in the Parliament. Each District has 5 Representatives and 2 Senators.

Parties

The United States of Dictators has been split into two parties most of the time, Halk Partisi (HP) and Neo Federation League (NFL).
Halk Partisi is considered as a liberal, left wing party, while the Neo Federation League is considered as a conservative, right wing party.
The House of Representatives and Senate are controlled by the HP, The House has a total of 500 members, 210 seats are held by HP and 193 are held by the NFL. In the Senate, there are a total of 100 members, 56 are held by HP and 44 are held by the NFL.

Military

The president is the commander-in-chief of the United States Of Dictators Armed Forces and appoints its leaders, the Minister of Defence.The Ministry of Defence, which is headquartered at Defence HQ in Wilmington, administers the four service branches, which are made up of the Army, Air Force, Naval Force and Special Force, In 2019, all four branches of the U.S.D Armed Forces reported 3.4 million personnel on active duty. The Reserves and National Guard brought the total number of troops to 5.9 million. The Ministry of Defence also employed about 700,000 civilians, not including contractors.

Law Enforcement and Crime
Law enforcement in the United States of Dictators is primarily the responsibility of local police departments and sheriff's offices, with district police providing broader services. Federal agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have specialised duties, including protecting civil rights, national security and enforcing U.S.D federal courts' rulings and federal laws. According to the Bureau of Statistics, and Gordon Philips, former Wilmington, National Capital District police chief, appeared in The Times, there are about 18,000 U.S.D police agencies in the United States of Dictators. That number includes city police departments, county sheriff's offices, district police/highway patrol and federal law enforcement agencies. District courts conduct most criminal trials while federal courts handle certain designated crimes as well as certain appeals from the district criminal courts.

Urban Area
About 94.6% of the country is urban, making it one of the most urban countries in Xena. An estimate of 623 million people, about 87.5% of the population live in urban areas. There are urban areas throughout all of the United States of Dictators, there are 187 cities with a population over 1 million, 84 with over 5 million, and 14 with over 10 million. The biggest city is the capital Wilmington and the largest metropolitan area is the Wilmington-Berkton-Culcheth metropolitan area.

Rural Area
Rural areas only make up 5.4% of the land in the United States of Dictators, and are most concentrated in the southern part of the country. Only about 12.5% of the population, or about 76 million people in rural areas, the number of people living in rural areas are only declining, about 12 million people moved to urban areas from rural areas from 2013 to 2021, a number that is only growing. The government has encouraged people to move to urban areas and provided them with benefits. Income in urban areas are 25% higher than rural ones, and there are generally more job opportunities. However urban areas are also densely populated, noisy and bustling.

Forests
Forests make up around 7% of the land in the United States of Dictators, although that number is slowing declining as more urban areas build up. There have been campaigns by environmental groups to plant more trees.

Population
The Office of Census and Statistics (OCS) reported 713,547,583 residents as of 30 April 2022.This data excludes the three unincorporated territories and also the islands.

In 2021, there were almost 75 million immigrants and U.S.D born children of immigrants. Accounting for 10.5% of the total population. The United States of Dictators has a very diverse population, 45 ancestry groups have a populations of over 1 million. White Dictatorisians which are the native group. And another White group, Herzoslovakians from Herzoslovakia make up the largest racial group in the nation. Black Dictatorisians from Luagonian Dictatorisians constitute the largest racial minority and fifth largest racial group. Loharian Dictatorisians make up the second largest racial minority and seventh largest ethnic group.

In 2021, 54% of Dictatorisians aged 18 and older were married, 4% were widowed, 11% had divorced and 31% had never been married.
As of 2022, the birth rate stood at 1.75 children per woman. In 2017, the average age at first birth was 25, and 41% of births were to unmarried women. In 2019, U.S.D had the world's highest rate (26%) of children living in single-parent households; the rates in Ambrosia and Lohari were 12% and 4%, respectively.

Languages
English, specifically (Dictatorisian English) is the official and national language in the United States of Dictators. Federal level, some laws—such as U.S.D naturalization requirements—standardize English, and all districts have declared English as the official language.

According to the Dictatorisian Community Survey, In 2022 some 657 million people (out of the total 713 million) spoke only English at home, More than 39 million spoke only Loharian at home. Making it the second most widely used langauge in the United States of Dictators. Other languages spoken at home by over 1 million people include Ambrosian (3.4 million),
Trustranian (2.7 million), Wostriuanian (1.9 million) and Apringtonian (1.4 million).

Health
The Ministry of Health and The Office for Disease Control and Prevention (DCP) reported that the United States of Dictators had an average life expectancy of 90.5 years at birth, (86.8 years for men and 96.3 years for women) up 3.4 years from 2013. The country has one of the lowest suicide rates among developed countries.

Obesity rates have decreased from 2.7% to 0.6% from 2004 to 2017. USD went from being placed 27th to 1st in life expectancy from 1987 to 2010, This was largely due to The Healthcare Revolution which took place from 1995 to 2008 and saw the expansion of healthcare coverage, introduction of universal healthcare and advancement of medical equipment and increased government funding for healthcare.

100% of the population has healthcare coverage under the universal healthcare system. The USD health care system is considered to be the best in the world. But only a few decades ago, It was said to have one of the worst healthcare system in the world. The government spends 14.7% of the national budget on healthcare. And is a global leader for medical innovation.

Education
Dictatorisian public education is operated by district and local governments and regulated by the Ministry of Education. It is required by federal law for children to attend school from ages five or six (beginning with kindergarten or first grade) to until they turn 18 (bringing them to twelfth grade, the end of high school) This is mandated by all districts. About 7% of the students are enrolled in parochial or nonsectarian private schools. USD spends more on education for every student than any other country in the world. Spending an average $15,433 per year on public primary and high school students in 2016-2017 school year. Some 95% of U.S.D students attend universities.

Among Dictatorisians aged 25 or older, 99% attended high school, 97.6% attended college, 78.4% earned a bachelors degree and 76.5% earned a graduate degree, the literacy rate is at 99%. The Xenian Union assigns the United States of Dictators an Education Index of 0.33, making it the 1st in the world.

The United States of Dictators has many private or public institutions of higher education. The majority of the world's top universities are in U.S.D. In 2018, a network of research-intensive universities, ranked the United States of Dictators first in the world for breadth and quality of higher education. Student debt is at an all time low due to many debt forgiveness programs in place. Student debt was only $1.2 million in 2021, a number that is on the decline.

Household Income
Household Income in the United States of Dictators is an impressive $143,000, although this number varies depending on the household. This is likely due to a very educated population and a high quality free education system.
From 1927 to 1975, Household Income was a merely $17,846 per household, since then education and employment reforms have took place.

Males and Females earn the same amount of money, this is required by law and punishment for breaking this law are harsh. If Males earn $25,000 per month, females will earn the same given that they do the same job. No more, no less. Additionally the same applies for females to males. Although some have tried to break this law, It is generally easily mandated.

But although nowadays Income Discrimination per gender is non-existent, It used to be a massive issue in the United States of Dictators a few decades ago. Males used to earn 34% more than females and the government refused to address the issue. The government had encouraged females to not work, and instead stay at home. Laws were put in place to prevent women from certain jobs. And some laws even going against the constitution. These laws were later repealed by the Parliament.

Racial Discrimination, much like Gender Discrimination has been abolished, however It also used to be a massive issue, Black Dictatorisians were discriminated against and many of them were either prevented from having a job or was rejected by employers for jobs. Same had applied for Loharian Dictatorisians. Protests were arranged by racial minorities but they were quickly shut down by the police.

Disposable Income is $110,567 per household (varies depending on the household). This is due a low income tax. The government is also seeking to abolish income tax.

Poverty in the United States of Dictators is non-existent, The government has created low income housing, provided education to poor people, granted loans and moved people into houses free of cost.

Roads and Highways

There are about 8297 highways which is run under a single highway system, The Charles D Gilbert Motorway System, which is the national highway system of the United States of Dictators, It was formed in 2006 following the passing of The Motorway Expansion Act by the Parliament. It is overseen by the Ministry of Road and Transportation. USD has a total road network of 15,132,653 km², the third largest in Xena, It however has the largest road coverage in Xena, with 99% of the country being accessible by roads.

Traffic is a moderate issue in the United States of Dictators, although Traffic is not an issue in most cities, however in megacities like Wilmington, Newcastle and Liverpool, It can be a serious issue. However, due to increased use of public transport, traffic in megacities are declining fast.

Public Transport
Public Transportation in the United States of Dictators is widespread and robust. Out of the 187 cities, around 163 of them have public transportation including metro. The government has encouraged public transportation and funded the public transportation.
