LU under prosecution
On Sunday, 11 September 2022, members of the party Libertarian Union were alleged to be involved in aiding the Herzoslovakian Nationalist Organisation, a militant group based in Herzoslovakia that has vowed to destroy the United States of Dictators. The news broke out after a newspaper called The Monday Times published a article which showed Alex Bake, Deputy Leader of the Libertarian Union, transfer $17 million from a company bank account, to an unknown bank account located in Rot's Creek, Herzoslovakia. The newspaper also reported that a unknown account belonged to Issac Himmer, a representative and spokesperson for the HNO. Bake transferred $1 million each, to 17 banks located throughout Northern Herzoslovakia, an Herzoslovakian state under control of the HNO, all of which belonged to the same person. According to the newspaper.
Bake used a company bank account which was registered in Herzoslovakia as a commercial business account, and in the United States of Dictators, as a non-profit organisation. This was because the Government of the United States of Dictators bans any tax on non profit and charity organisations, both domestic and international, meaning that if funds were transferred from the United States of Dictators, the government would not charge the usual bank transfer tax.
The newspaper allegedly found this information while researching on the activities of the HNO, during which they hired a professional hacker who hacked into the bank account of Himmer, and found the transactions. The hacker contacted the newspaper and provided them with pictures and information about the account.
At first, they were unsure who transferred the $17 million, but the hacker eventually found the transaction scripts which read,
"USD$ 1 million was transferred from Bulk Arthur Organisation, (transaction ID: redacted by newspaper)
Continent: Peyonne
Country: United States of Dictators
City or town: Liverpool"
Date of Transfer: August 7, 2022
After a bit of hacking, it was found that the "Bulk Arthur Organisation" was registered on 2 August 2022, by Alex Hawking Bake.
The hacker also found personal messages of Himmer, talking with Bake, about the transaction. During which both Bake and Himmer assured that this transaction would never be known by anyone except him and Bake, as well as talked about how the current President of the United States of Dictators, Hikemet Dinc, has pushed his "modernising and technologically advancing" agenda on the Dictatorisian people, and wished that Herzoslovakia would never turn into that.
They also talked about the current situation in Herzoslovakia. He supported the organisation's presence in the Herzoslovakian capital, Birmingham, and hoped the HNO would conquer all of Herzoslovakia. And he also supported HNO attacks on the USD.
After the article was published, it caused fear among the public. The Monday Times crashed for 2 hours because of the amount of traffic the article caused. Over 12 million people, almost all of whom were from the United States of Dictators visited the website before it crashed.
On Twitter, it was filled with links to the article and mentioning President Dinc. The public wanted immediate action from government on this matter.
At 5:56 PM, 11 Sept, President Dinc posted a tweet which read:
"I am aware of the recent publication in the The Monday Times, which showed LU Deputy Leader, Alex Bake, transfer $17 million of their donor's money to a key enemy of our nation. I have talked with NBI director Edward Ghislen for an immediate investigation into the matter. This is, yet another example of LU trying to threaten the security of our nation, first through smuggling guns into our country, and now through this. I sincerely request an end to this behaviour. Both as the President and as an Dictatorisian citizen."
At 6:12 PM, Defence Minister Bob Hartfield twitted:
"So sad to hear the latest sabotage of LU on our nation, giving millions to our enemies does not help our cause, it helps theirs, and their cause is destroy our prosperous nation. Siding with terrorists does not make you a hero, it makes you into a terrorist yourself. Siding with the people who wishes death on over 1.3 billion people does not make you a pacifist. It makes you into a warmonger. And especially siding with the people who want to destroy your own country does not make you into a patriot. It makes you into a traitor."
The investigation began on early morning, 12 Sept. NBI detectives and investigators visited the house of Alex Bake in Wilmington in order to interrogate him. But he was not there, His guards at his house said he had flown off to Newcastle for a LU convention. A team of investigators were sent to Newcastle, while most stayed in Wilmington in case he returned.
Upon arriving in Newcastle, the investigators requested assistance from the intelligence division in order to track Bake.
Meanwhile in Wilmington, the investigators visited The Monday Times HQ, and asked questions about the hacker involved, and eventually acquired information regarding the hacker's whereabouts, a series of questions were prepared beforehand for the hacker to answer.
In Newcastle, the investigators found Bake, who at the time was giving a speech about the whole situation to a crowd of people. Newcastle Police were informed beforehand for protection from violence from the public if occurred.
The investigators called for an immediate end to the convention, saying that a federal crime investigation is taking place regarding Bake, and the convention was shut down after Newcastle Police arrived.
It was now 1:02 PM, Bake was handcuffed and taken on a plane to Wilmington, for interrogation. In Wilmington, the hacker was also taken for interrogation.
After that, the NBI shifted its focus on the HNO representative, who was still nowhere to be found. The NBI's intelligence division found a possible location of where he could be, and on 5:08 PM Dictatorisian time, a raid was requested by the NBI to the United States of Dictators Army (USDA)'s Herzoslovakian Command. The raid would take place on night in the United States of Dictators and on morning in Herzoslovakia.
After the raid, Himmer was brought to the United States of Dictators for interrogation. With all three in one place, the interrogators asked questions and reported it to the NBI director.
On Sept 15, The District Court for the National Capital Territory published a hearing date, Sept 26, in which all three will be present. The court also approved the use of legal teams for the accused.
Until the hearing, all three will be kept in a isolated prison in Hampstead. From which they will contact their respective legal teams.
