On Z-Day, go to the [url=https://www.nationstates.net/page=zombie_control]pandemic response decision page[/url] and select [b]cure[/b]. By doing so, your nation will begin to research cure missiles, which allow you to aid other nations during the pandemic. Then you can sit back and relax until your Mk I Cure missile are complete. Please tell others if you're going to be curing via the Regional Message Board- Coordination is very important in this event!

Your citizens will revive at the end of the event unscathed by their pandemic experience, but the game is generally more fun when we work together to beat back the zombie hordes. :)

On this page (on Z-Day), you can choose to develop a cure, develop killing squads, or develop zombie hordes. These powerful tools can be used every 20 seconds by one nation on another nation, however, a nation hit by a superweapon cannot use superweapons themselves for 2 minutes. They take time to develop (and a small zombie population to experiment on), so starting work on them right away is vital.[/list]

As zombies are cured or killed off in a nation, the number of zombies each superweapon usage eliminates goes down. This could be representative of it being harder to find and cure/cull the last remaining zombies.

Z-Factor is calculated every hour by the game, when it is above zero, the number of zombies in [region]Concord[/region] increases each hour, when it is at zero, zombies cease to consume survivors, and at a negative Z-Factor, zombies are cured without outside interference. Getting it to zero as soon as possible should be considered of the highest importance.[/list]
