The May Revolution - The Fall of a Tyrant
Over the course of just a few months, the members of Barbaria came together, and united under the common goal to overthrow a tyrant. Elections were rigged, fellow members were bullied, and years of resentment for others was fabricated under false pretenses, so those in power can remain in power. The web of lies has finally been taken down, and the truth has finally been set free. The facts were suppressed, gaslit, and gatekept from all of Barbaria, and fake facts were put into place to maintain the illusion, or the lie that solely existed for the benefit of one person. This day shall be renown, and live in infamy. The once mighty pillar that has been taken down, and the foundation of our region was forced to be reshaped for the many, and not just or one. This day shall be known under different names, the May Revolution, the May Coup, or the Great Barbarian Revolution. The conference of the noble nations placed the burden upon themselves, so the next generation can prosper under a new leadership, and a new model. On May 24th, 2023; at approximately 2:07PM (PDT), Vostag resigned as the Chief Executive of the United Nations of Barbaria, after finally succumbing to the People's demand to resign.
Vostag was charged with high treason against the United Nations of Barbaria; for rigging elections, illegally holding multiple minister positions at a time, and tampering election results, all while using illegal puppets. Vostag was also charged with intimidation, and bullying; which was made accessible through illegal puppets. As a result of these crimes, Vostag was naturally reprimanded like any other traitor who would commit a crime against Barbaria; resulting in losing his position as the Chief Executive, and being prohibited from running in any elections in the future. Hedra would become Barbaria's second Chief Executive, and lead Barbaria to reformation.
On August 28th, 2023; Sovern, acting as the Secretary General, enacted an official pardon on Vostag. The pardon would drop all charges held against Vostag, and allow him to run for minister positions.
Vostag has since not made any public apology, recognition, or statement for his actions...
