Official Friendship Cup 2024 Bid

Well, sirs, we’d like to ask you for a moment of your attention:

We’ve thought that the title is quite self-explanatory, so let’s get to the interesting stuff quickly. The four elected cities by the MFF to host our (let’s hope for it) first DSAFF competition are:

ADDAMMAN (around 2.5M): The second biggest city in all of Montecrux, behind their neighbour Olphys. A very interesting and historical city, founded by an arab expedition in the IX Century, where there’s a feeling of, as they call it, respaire, literally, “breathe the air”, the wonderful air from the coast they receive. Nonetheless, this feeling doesn’t exist when there’s football involved, for Addamman UD or peripherical clubs like Armada Barajas or Saint Lucien. It’s precisely the first one of these ones, the 12 times League champion who wanted lend their stadium, the José de Sandalor, quite close to the city center and with 63.400 seats available.

HAEBERLUS (around 700.000): Located beyond the Alps, with a clear latin and italian influence, this city is one of the most noisy, because of all the festivals and concerts that they organize, like the MadMus Festival, and the internal night life. One of the places where these multitudinary events are hosted is the Estadi Municipalo La Serranilla, which is one of the biggest ones, reaching 50.000 seats, even though the Haeberlians don’t usually watch football there… Not because a club is unpopular, it means that their stadium is, too. Even though it may look ugly, the solar pannels generate 70% of the energy it needs, saving an estimated amount of 3.000 tons of annual CO2. Not bad, huh?

ARLÈS (around 300.000): A very special city, first built by the romans and made province capital, it is home of lots of incredible buildings from all eras and inspirations. A place that breathes culture and experimentation, where most artists, architects and all jobs that require some inspiration come to study at the Universitá Logoira de Arlès. A proof of all this is their club, SFU Arlès, who built a very curious stadium who dared to invade the river’s territory just because. Ladies and gentlemens, Estadi Bahia Neptuno (25.000), with all of you!

ANSELLO (around 350.000): Ah yes, the divided city. Sea or mountain. West or East the Rodan. With or without cream (the typical Marinara pasta, please!). Rich and proud of it or humble and with the streets. Frezh-La-Muffe or JClomo. Vilahaut or Marítimo. Oh, would you look at that, on this subject, we can answer the question! It is Marítimo, with whose new stadium, they have entered in the four final scenarios proposed. Actually, the new Estadi Keke van de Brekke, now with 35.400 seats and a retractile roof (yes, it doesn't look like, but the roof is retractile), in case the climate would be too harsh for someone, all in its new greenish green costume, is regarded as one of those with easier access, best views, and better spectacle in all of Montecrux.
