Legislation.
Review and approval of agreements and treaties.
Review and approval of the State plan and budget.
Oversight of the work of the Executive.
Discussion of the President of the AUSE's statement and the government program.
Amendments to the Constitution.
Approval of declarations of war and emergency.

The People's assembly organization:
1.Speaker of the House.
2.Speaker's Staff Office.
3.House' General Committee.
4.Specialized Committees.
5.Ethics Committee.
6.Ad hoc & Combined Committees.

The Assembly election's system:
States have a fixed number of seats.
The elections takes place every 6 years.
Members can seek re-election for another 6 years only.
Members that can join the assembly must be 21 or older.

Revolutionary Justice party: 221 seats
Progressive Liberal party: 104 seats
Egyptosian Unity Block: 55 seats
Egyptosian People's Front: 47 seats
National Democratic party: 28 seats
Patriotic Alliance: 14 seats
Egyptosian Green Party: 11 seats
